DECEMBER 9th 2008 - BHS Highland (south) Panel Night with Andrew McDiamid BVC&S ES (orth) MRCVS and Jim Ferries FCWF (farrier) . The evening is also a social event with cheese and wine. Members and non members welcome. 7.30pm -- Craigmonie Hotel - Inverness. Contact Rhoda McVey Making Strides < rhoda@makingstrides.co.uk>, Andrew and Jim work together on occasions to solve and treat lameness in horses. They are both world renowned experts in their field. Andrew has his own practice in Lanark. The evening is seriously not to be missed as they are covering lameness and oesteo-arthritis !!
Saddle Fitting
Clare Molyneux BHSII reg. is a saddle fitter and rep for Saddle Exchange Ltd, this is a Somerset based company specialising in bespoke made to measure saddles for the comfort of both riders and horses. All disciplines catered for. Clare also has a few second hand saddles to sell on behalf of her clients. With several satisifed customers in the area (Caithness - Summer2008) Clare hopes to be back in the area on 22nd November. Clare is a regular instructor at Coillemore, she is a BHS senior examiner and will be starting winter training for Stages 2, 3 and 4 at Broomhill and Coillemore, if interested please contact either centre. She can be available for teaching on her trips to Caithness.
